We perform riveting using a pneumatic rivet gun and sometimes using manual riveting pliers. We use this connection for not very thick parts that need to be joined together. Holes for rivets must already be prepared in the connected parts, either burned or cut. The essence of a rivet connection is the clamping of the connected parts between two rivet heads, which are formed when the rivet is pulled in.
„ Riveted connection of parts or riveting is used to make non-separable joints, which are achieved by permanent (form) deformation of the rivets or one of the connected parts. A raw rivet has a stop head, a neck (conical transition to the shank) and a shank. The neck transitions into the head by rounding, while the heads are usually in the shape of a spherical canopy. “
In addition to classic riveting using blind rivets, we also use very popular rivet nuts. They are used for already bent or welded units, after surface treatment or riveting into rolled profiles (jakls).
They can be steel galvanized or stainless.
